One of the many defining benefits of Full Circle Design Works is our on-site woodshop. Operating a full-service woodshop allows us to efficiently complete complex custom projects with accuracy and at a competitive price. We have complete control over the production process from receiving the lumber, milling, and final finishing in our spray booth. Using our full range of machinery, including our C.R. Onsrud Mate Series CNC machine, we can deliver just about any creative wood working or millwork project imaginable.
CABINETRY
Our standard frameless cabinets are fabricated from maple veneered MDF or maple pattern Melamine on particle board substrate, depending on the project. We source a variety of premium exotic veneers for doors, drawer fronts and finished end panels. The hardware used in our cabinetry is made by Blum, a proven leader in the cabinet hardware industry. We construct our cabinets using very tight tolerances to achieve a beautiful result. Our standard 2mm reveal on all our doors, drawers and end panels is one of the tightest reveal specs in the industry and requires superior attention to detail to achieve.
CNC Fabrication
The CNC Machine plays a vital role in our manufacturing process. It greatly reduces the amount of time it takes to mill parts because it can work much faster and perform several processes. It gives us full capability to reproduce decorative trim elements and custom artistic details. Our experienced programmer and production manager can import your illustrations from a variety of design software packages to bring your project to life. We can work with wood, soft metals, plastics and a variety of other specialty materials designed for CNC fabrication.
Veneer Press
Full Circle Design Works operates two veneer presses which are used to bond wood and other specialty veneers to their substrate. These presses use vacuum suction to evacuate air and deliver a large amount of consistent pressure which ensures a strong bond. It takes between six and eight hours of constant pressure to completely adhere and thoroughly dry. The resulting product is then ready for machining.
Finishing
Having our own Spray Booth gives us complete control over the finished product. We use a variety of products to suit any finishing needs including conversion varnish, waterborne finish, paint and polyurethane. Staining wood or veneer is a common practice here as well, and we can match a stain already in use or formulate new colors to satisfy your needs.
Custom Woodworking and Furniture
Our experienced craftsman can design and fabricate your custom furniture or woodworking details. We can accommodate one-off single projects, reproductions, new work and production models. We thrive on working with individual clients and architects to build a full range of custom furniture for the home or office. We also have the capacity to work with furniture companies to produce parts or complete furniture pieces.
